Industrial trickling filter

Filtration consists of separating, by physical or chemical means or a combination of both, the impurities contained in a liquid, whether in suspension, dissolved or of both types, to obtain one or more of the components separately from others of better purity. The most widely used system today is through membranes. The system can be very varied: Tangential. Consists of passing a solution of any type under pressure inside a ceramic tube. The filtrate passes through the walls from inside to outside. Frontal. Can be made of plate or hollow fiber. In both cases it consists of passing through the filtrate from the outside to the inside, the plate one is due to a pressure effect, while the hollow fiber one is due to vacuum suction.
